As I was walking down the aisles of Berkeley Bowl during a quiet morning (which rarely happens), I let my eyes wander to discover something new. My aim was to work with an ingredient I hadn't before and that is when I stumbled upon the piles of grapefruit.
First things first, we are not bakers! Neal and I typically taste as we cook and like to modify ingredients during the process. There is a certain precision around baking that makes it terrifying but also very admirable.
